For custom logos, the process from start to finish is generally around 4 weeks. If you have a tight, specific launch date coming up, we can discuss shorter timeline options.

Initial logo design(s) are ready for review 1-2 weeks after we've defined project goals. The creative process varies for each client. It can be a matter of days or weeks-- depending on how many rounds of edits are needed and client response time. We want the big "THIS IS IT!!" feeling by any means necessary!

The Logo Questionnaire
You'll answer a logo questionnaire where we cover things like style likes, dislikes, company history, goals + more. This phase is crucial to developing a unique brand that accurately reflects your individualism. I will summarize your design goals, we will review and discuss to ensure I understand your aspirations.

Design Development
Then, the design process begins. All designs are completely one-of-kind. Art mediums are implemented like India ink, watercolor, charcoal. Other times, illustrations are built digitally.

Review + Refine
Once I reach a point where I am really happy with the designs, the logo(s) will arrive in your inbox with design notes and instructions for review. Then, You will make suggestions for improvement.

We go back and forth with edits and reviews until you have the gut feeling of "YES! This is IT!" (This is the response I live for!) The final design is something you are deeply proud to show the world.

The approved logo design is delivered in the following formats:

• AI (Adobe Illustrator)
• EPS and SVG (vector created in Adobe Illustrator, intended for unlimited scalability) ***
• PDF (with Illustrator editing capabilities)
• JPG in RGB (3 different sizes intended for use on the web)
• JPG in CMYK (for print)
• PNG (with transparent backgrounds in 3 different sizes)

*** If you don't know how to use (or even open!) the AI, EPS or SVG file, that will certainly not pose an issue. The PDF, JPG and PNG files will be plenty to cover almost any logo design need you have. You have them if you need them.

You will also receive:

• Brand color palette
• Your logo formatted for social media profiles
• An instruction sheet explaining each file type
• My technical support from now until the end of time

My intentions are to equip you with many file types that can be used by anyone- graphically-challenged or a tech-guru.

You can make edits to your logo design by working with the AI file in Adobe Illustrator. If you are new to Adobe, I am happy to walk you through it.

At times, I have clients that additionally request a layered Photoshop file as an add-on.

Many of my higher level design packages include design components that will unify a website’s aesthetic. Additional graphics may not be necessary.

At times, I do web development or help edit an existing website. I  more often work directly with you or your programmer to create the artwork needed for a site.

Yes, absolutely. In most of the design packages, items can be swapped out for other similarly priced design elements or a custom design package can be created based on your needs.
